FB on Rails

A Facebook-like prototype app built w/ RoR can be found here now.
Beware, it's a prototype; a.k.a. sketchy, dirty & buggy. ;)

Some tinkering w/ auto-generating app code skeletons via EMF's incl. as well.

Guerrilla duo effort of a workload actually meant for groups of up to 5 devs. ^^

WS-DeathStar

Some rather extensive tinkering w/ all things JAX-W/RS (via Apache CXF) + WS-BPEL (via Sun OpenESB/NetBeans) can be found here
(connected course).
Teamwork done together w/ two great colleagues.

Here's a little concept paper of a pretty nice, current studies project.

Source code might be provided later this month.

Here's a selection of some collaborative uni products from the passing winter term:
  • a Java app solving the so-called "Santa Fe trail" resp. artificial ant problem (as in genetic programming)
  • a multi-agents system prototype simulating load balancing of raw materials on processing machines implemented with the JADE framework
  • a machine learning report on several classification experiments mainly conducted with R and (R)Weka
  • a paper on developing Firefox extensions (text is written in German)
BTW, the first two projects were done during assignments of a really interesting course on self-organizing systems.
